Installing an APK file on Android is straightforward once you know the steps. This guide covers every Android version.
Before You Start
Make sure you are downloading the APK from a trusted source. For IMB Ultra, always use imbtool.cloud — the official download page.
Step 1: Download the APK
Tap the Download APK button on imbtool.cloud. The file (IMB-Ultra-v1.2.apk) will download to your Downloads folder.
Step 2: Enable Unknown Sources
Android 8.0 and above:
1. When you open the APK, a prompt will appear asking to allow installs from this source
2. Tap Settings in the prompt
3. Toggle on Allow from this source
4. Press back and tap Install
Android 7.0 and below:
1. Go to Settings → Security
2. Enable Unknown Sources
3. Open the APK from your Downloads folder
Step 3: Install
1. Open your file manager or notification bar
2. Tap the downloaded APK file
3. Tap Install
4. Wait for installation to complete (usually under 30 seconds)
Step 4: Open the App
Tap Open or find IMB Ultra on your home screen. No login required — start browsing skins immediately.
Troubleshooting
"App not installed" error? Uninstall any previous version of the app first, then retry.
"Parse error"? The download may be incomplete. Delete the file and download again from imbtool.cloud.
